Maintains and repairs equipment including, but not limited to, mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems. Maintains the building and its related systems. Certified and/or licensed in a specific trade that is directly related to healthcare engineeringPosition is full time, 40 hours per week, on day shift with call rotation for evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be a certified HVAC Tech with experience troubleshooting and leading repairs on Commercial HVAC Units.Position requires a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle records check. QualificationsEducation and Work Experience

Five (5) years experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.

Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blue prints

Valid state driver's license

Certified and/or licensed in a specified tradethat is relative to healthcare engineering (Steam boiler, HVAC, etc).

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Facility Specific Requirements (facility may require items listed below):

Behavioral Violence Prevention training preferred.
