Chiropractor

Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking a part time (20 hours/week) chiropractor to join their established practice located at the Henry Ford Medical Center in Dearborn, Michigan. Currently, the clinic has 1 acupuncturist and 3 massage therapists.

Radiology on site.

Part time consists of two full days and one 1/2 day per week

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Helps establish clinical standards and best practices within Chiropractic practice scope.

Evaluates a patient’s condition based on their symptoms and medical history.

Diagnoses and treats by manual re-aligning the spine and adjusting joints.

Formulates, recommends, and clearly communicate a treatment plan for each patient.

Maintains detailed and complete records of health care plans, treatments and prognosis, and utilize EMR for all patient records.

Monitors patient health progress for constant assessment of techniques and procedures needed for their optimal health.

Collaborates in care with physical therapists, doctors, nurses, and CIM providers.

Maintains and follows standard quality, safety and infection control policies and procedures.

Develops relationships with targeted providers and provider groups at HFHS to develop their understanding, acceptance and utilization of Chiropractic Care.

10.Appropriately bills for services.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:· Graduate from a chiropractic education program that is accredited by the Council on Chiropractic Education (CCE).· Experience in individual treatment.· Experience in group education/teaching.· Previous hospital or wellness center experience.· Must possess excellent communication and listening skills.· Must be able to demonstrate all aspects of hospitality, professionalism, prompt and courteous service, positive demeanor in stressful situations, and attention to detail at all time.#pr· Ability to be efficient, productive, and maintain an on time schedule of appointments.· Must have enthusiasm and possess excellent customer service skills.· Enjoy working with people and possess a friendly personality.CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:· State of MI Licensed Chiropractor.· Current CPR certification (or obtain within 90 days of hire).Additional Information
