We want you to bring your talent & skills to positively impact the health of our residents.Job description:As the Clinical Nutrition Manager, you will manage the daily operations of nutrition services through direct supervision of a team of Registered Dietitian.  The CNM directs daily operations of nutrition programs and ensure customer and client satisfaction levels are met. May provide direct nutrition care to population served.Executes operating standards, implements quality improvements and communicates them to other departments; and collects and reports outcomes. Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations (e.g. Health Dept., HIPAA/Privacy Act, Joint Commission, quality assurance, safety, operations, and personnel). This position is Full-time Requirements Must Be Licensed Registered DietitianExperience in hospitals/healthcare is required!Supports and delivers the highest level of nutrition care to residents to meet the customer’s overall needs.Calculate nutritional needs, establish goals, and implement medical nutrition therapy for residents based on their overall nutritional status.Establish effective strategies to implement innovative programs which lead to optimal clinical nutrition and positive financial outcomesComply with regulatory standards – both Federal and State and accrediting agencies adhering to confidentiality, HIPPA regulations, policies, and CMS regulationsCollaborate with IDT (Interdisciplinary Team) to provide quality nutrition and culinary programReview menu cycle for nutrient analysis and diet consistenciesSupports quality assurance initiatives in the kitchenImplement Health & Wellness initiativesEstablishes goals and oversees implementation of clinical nutrition care based upon the facility s medical direction and patient/ resident populationAssesses the nutritional status of patients/residents through documentation in the medical recordHires, leads, directs, coaches, trains, and develops nutrition team membersTrains and mentor s patient/resident services staff and interns as applicableFosters teamwork and establishes effective strategies to implement innovative programs leading to optimal clinical nutrition and financial outcomesMonitors competency, productivity, and documentation accuracy of clinical staffAssigns and directs the workload of the clinical nutrition staffParticipates in staffing analysis to ensure adequate staffing in collaboration with the VP of Nutrition & Wellness and the Director of Clinical and Wellness SupportComplies with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient/resident rights policiesParticipates in/ Leads patient /resident satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs
