Our revenues in 2020 exceeded US$3.0 billion.Black & Veatch is seeking an HR Coordinator who will support Construction HR with all social media efforts including creating and posting content, processing and auditing of staff files and forms, in addition to employee transactions, including but not limited to promotions, terminations, pay raises, employee transfers, and additional functions. You will also provide staff support for new hires, I-9s, assessments/training, reporting and leaves.Key Responsibilities

Create, update and post online to Construction marketing pages and social media, in addition to monitoring messages/comments.

Process and audit for compliance personnel transactions (manually and electronic). Load all paperwork electronically into employee files for records retention.

Manage all Construction Staff level FMLA and disability leave tracking.

Customer service to managers, administrative staff and employees along with written and verbal verifications from outside sources.

Assist with Construction Staff employee separation activities.

Ensure smooth transition of professionals transferring from Craft to Staff roles.

Work with Management to pull reports and send key reminders to staff members across construction.

May provide support to other HR functional areas.

Help with staff benefit questions and walking through the process to make changes, etc.

Draft and put together HR documentation to provide to employees.

Routinely assist in project assessments and perform internal audits to assure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, as well as all federal, state, and local laws or regulations.

Prepare reports, ensure consistency of processes, and ensure proper interface and support of other HR systems.

Adhere to all federal, state and local laws governing employment process.

Assist with diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Build and maintain Construction HR Administration Sharepoint pages and manage document center documents.

Aid with assessment requests and readouts for Staff professionals.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (HR), Business or related field is preferred

A minimum of 2 years HR experience, ideally with Construction and Craft personnel

Peoplesoft experience and PeopleSoft training

Basic knowledge of employment law, FMLA, ADA

Basic knowledge of HRIS

Strong computer skills (Microsoft Suite).

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good multi-tasking skills.

Bi-lingual capabilities (Spanish)
