Description We are working with a growing healthcare client in the Grand Rapids, MI area to find a skilled and successful Controller. In this role, you will manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, cash management, and audits. Additionally, you will lead and develop the Finance and Accounting teams, working closely with senior leadership to enhance operational and financial performance. Strive for continuous process improvement, seeking to shrink the close cycle and speed up reporting deliverables. Report quarterly forecasts, accurate & timely reporting, annual budget processes, M& A reporting, weekly cash forecasts, manages lending relationships Ensure compliance with regulations, accounting principles, and confidentiality policies across all financial operations. Foster a culture of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and continuous process improvement. Ensure high level of accuracy and attention to detail regarding the recording and coding of financial transactions in compliance with GAAP. Coordinate the dissemination of financial statements and other reporting to key operational constituents, management and the Board of Directors. Oversee budgeting, prepare financial forecasts and outlooks, and analyze monthly operating results. Deliver a successful year-end audit and stay abreast of accounting changes, actively evolving procedures to ensure compliance. Coordinate financial system interaction with other internal and external systems.
