Job Description:Bridging North America (BNA), a partnership of Fluor, ACS Infrastructure Canada and Aecon Group Inc., is seeking candidates for the Gordie Howe International Bridge project. BNA was selected to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the CAD$5.7 billion (approximate US$4.4 billion) Gordie Howe International Bridge project for Windsor-Detroit Bridge Authority (WDBA).When completed, the bridge will be the longest cable-stayed bridge in North America. The project includes a bridge and border crossing spanning the Detroit River and connecting Detroit, Michigan, U.S., and Windsor, Ontario, Canada, by linking Interstate 75 and Interstate 96 in Michigan with the new extension of Highway 401 (Rt. Hon. Herb Gray Parkway) in Ontario. The scope also includes building new, state-of-the-art ports of entry on both the U.S. and Canadian sides of the Detroit River as well as improvements to existing infrastructure in both Michigan and Ontario.The Cost Control Coordinator leads and ensures the overall cost control, financial integrity and accuracy of financial reporting and forecasting functions for our major infrastructure projects. Develops and implements project cost control systems, operational procedures, and reporting systems to control the flow of funds for capital projects in accordance with our financial policies and procedures Develops and implements risk management strategies and controls to mitigate financial risk and exposure on multi-year multi-billion-dollar capital projects Manages and leads continuous cost reporting with accurate and timely information of budget, commitments, forecast, trends, variances, progress, performance, risk and opportunity, contingency, and cash flow. Conducts ongoing analysis of project risks during execution, working closely with Program Management Office Leads to optimize contingency strategies Monitors costs against agreed-upon budgets, schedules, and contractual deliverables within and across large and mission critical projects. Monitors the statistical and trends analysis of contracts and payout of contracts Leads the review and audit of non-contract costs, labour and expense reports, and submission of adjustments to corporate Finance to ensure complete and accurate information Provides advice to PMO Leads and embedded cost controllers in all matters related to cost control systems and procedures to achieve on-time and on-budget goals Leads the provision of financial analysis, expertise, and advice to senior management and project teams regarding project expenses and fiscal matters throughout the lifecycle of these large multiple concurrent multi-billion-dollar infrastructure projects Other duties as assignedJob ID: 140719BRCity: DetroitState: MichiganCountry: United StatesWe are an equal opportunity employer that recognizes the value of a diverse workforce.
