Custom Cabinetry Installer

Job Description

Essential Functions:

This position requires the ability to perform at a minimum, but not limited to the following:

Custom cabinet installation - Raw boxes installed, followed by hardware and doors and drawers once on-site painting is complete.

Follow standard operating procedures for installation

Crown Molding and Scribe Molding work related to cabinetry

Periodic custom cabinet making in shop setting

Work site space clean up

Loading and unloading cabinetry

Any other tasks as assigned by the supervisor

Understand and follow the safety procedures as identified by the company

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Must work well with others

Must have experience safely using small hand and power tools – table saw and miter box

Ability to measure, read numbers including fractions

Ability to lift 100 pounds

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Must be self-directed and disciplined to complete work even when the installation lead is not onsite

Must be able to problem-solve

Working Conditions:

Installation work is onsite

The employee may encounter lifting heavy loads occasionally

The work area may have moderate noise and dust associated with the tasks that will require the use of personal protective equipment such as mask or hearing and/or eye protection

Must have transportation available to travel from one local job site to another
