Client Title: Senior Data Analyst, GSM Data & Systems Two positionsLevel: Intermediate/Advanced

•Location: Auburn Hills/Detroit office 2-3 times per week.•5% travel

Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

Role Responsibilities:
  • Pair with system SMEs to gain input/knowledge on key systems data
  • Develop functional requirements for system spilt
  • Understand and evaluate IT proposals to perform functional/logical or physical split
  • Provide functional support to internal IT (for homegrown systems) and IT providers (for 3rd party software
  • Define and perform testing scenarios for split systems: functionalities Escalate to SME in case of need
  • Work with big sets of master data and split them up between RemainCo-BorgWarner and NewCo-Phinia according to the agreed split criteria/rules
  • Meet project milestones
  • Work closely with the “GSM Data & Systems split Project Manger”, systems’ SME, Corporate GSM Leads on both sides (RemainCo-BorgWarner and NewCo-Phinia) and third party Software Vendors’ technical resources.

Required Experience:• 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data science roles or systems management roles• Background experience on GSM processes/topics/tools• Experience in spin-off of systems in Multinational Companies is an absolute plus• Advanced understanding of data management and visualization practices.• Familiarity in working in a multinational/ multicultural/multi-timezone environment• Familiarity with the following applications: o Ivaluao SharePoint based Applicationso Alteryxo SAP P2P Moduleso Data integration through API and flat files
