Position: Data Center Network Support Technician Location: Lansing MI Duration: Full Time Client: Tech Mahindra / JNL [Jackson National Life Insurance Company]Job Description:The Data Center Network Support Technician will be responsible for the design, planning, coordination, and installation of telecom and network data cabling in the Jackson Data Centers and the office buildings in the Lansing area. This position will provide services on a daily basis to internal customers via requests generated within our change management system. The senior technician will provide high level consulting, creative solutions, project coordination, and strong technical assistance for the Jackson teams who are responsible for supporting equipment in the Jackson Data Centers.Education and Experience Required• Associate’s degree or equivalent education and/or experience. • 5+ years work experience in a Data Center environment designing and installing data cabling associated with Telecom Systems, TCP/IP Networks, Closed Circuit TV Security Systems, Access Control Systems, and Wireless Network solutions.Certifications, Licenses, Registrations • CompTIA A+ Certification, DCIS (Data Center Infrastructure Specialist), BICSI, or other comparable hardware certification preferred. • Valid Driver’s License.
