- Systems are essential to operations and are relatively complex – development work involves primarily support (mainly to keep the code up and running, not new development)
- Both systems were written 14-15 years ago – back when there were no standards and very little structure. Over the years, different developers have applied fixes to the code and some areas are is a big mess.
- Both applications are being re-written and will be replaced over the next 12 months or so.
- A solid Delphi developer who is comfortable with Delphi code. This is not new development but, when these apps break, it requires someone with Delphi knowledge to figure out what is going on and fix it.
