Open to remote work from home from any US location.

The Account Executive will work with franchise or regional clients to sell Valassis Digital offerings within an assigned account list. The AE should have proven experience selling digital media to digital agencies and clients.The Account Executive is expected to be an active contributor, team player, flexible and a client advocate. We are seeking a motivated, team-oriented seller, with a desire to be a part of our dynamic culture.

Responsibilities

  • Exceed quarterly revenue goals and be pro-active in driving revenue
  • Engage agency and direct client decision makers at all levels
  • Plan, prepare and present at high impact meetings with both prospects and existing clients
  • Identify and develop a strong understanding of client's core objectives and challenges
  • Understand competitive landscape, and effectively differentiate our technology
  • Utilize research in presentations and interactions with prospects and clients
  • Ability to consultatively sell using our unique product offerings that address clients’ challenges
  • Accurately forecast revenue for your assigned territory and manage pipeline
  • Work alongside Account Management, Media Strategy, Data Science, and Product Engineering Team leaders to develop new business, up sell and facilitate renewals
  • Assist our sales leadership in maintaining a strong, supportive and fun environment

Qualifications

Preferred Skills

  • Minimum 5years of experience in digital media or data-centric sales, marketing, or advertising
  • Strong understanding of digital industry trends, platforms/technologies, and performance media buying
  • A strong desire to succeed in a non-cookie reliant technology company that’s uniquely positioned for leadership in the online space
  • Understanding of agency and trading desk dynamics, in addition to campaign buying and planning
  • Entrepreneurially-minded self-starter with excellent time management and strategic thinking skills
  • Knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
  • Understanding of audience profiles, 1st & 3rd party data targeting, and campaign optimization
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skills
  • Salesforce™ experience a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Up to 25% travel may be required
