You’ll be responsible for designing low to high fidelity user flows and design prototypes to ultimately inform production level products. Responsibilities include working in close collaboration with Product, Marketing and Development teams to establish and maintain design systems and assets through the life cycle of new product development.We are looking for an exceptionally gifted, well-rounded design professional with focused experience in new product UX/UI development. The ideal candidate is focused on digital products, but is also comfortable with applying UX/UI design to a range of early-stage brand development, too.The candidate should be obsessed with advancing user-first interactive design trends & technologies. In this role, you must be able to envision big picture final product vision while also rolling up your sleeves to perfect the smallest project details. You will collaborate with our team to create compelling and thoughtful web and mobile user experiences.As a Digital Product Designer, you will:Participate throughout the entire product development process —inspiration, research, requirements development, building prototypes, and delivering designs to tech/development teams.Contribute to and manage a cohesive design system, UX principles and visual guidelines across multiple digital touchpoints (mobile, web, etc.).Partner with engineering and product management teams to ensure that designs are technically feasible, scalable, and implemented according to design specifications.Identify design opportunities and actionable concepts that align customer needs with world-class design principles, and technical feasibility.Advocate for design excellence and user-centered design practices, and communicate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Collaborate with other designers and stakeholders to ensure consistency and coherence across products and services, and actively contribute to design reviews and critiques.Work with developers to ensure that designs are accurately implemented and perform as expected across different devices and platforms.Collaborate on designing iteratively - testing new solutions through experiments and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity–from scenario storytelling, wireframing, data visualization, click-through prototypes, animation, and motion design to functional prototypes and build-ready assets.The minimum requirements we seek:Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in visual design, interaction design, design-driven discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

5+ years of UI design experience, inclusive of high-fidelity prototypes.

5+ years of experience in creating sketches, wireframes, high fidelity comps, and written documentation, using modern design tools.

5+ Years of experience shipping digital products with agile design and development practices.

Proven track record in emerging tech, the latest creative tools, and design trends.

Portfolio and Design Skills:

A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of digital products that demonstrate creativity, problem-solving skills, and a user-centric approach to design. Portfolio is required.

A portfolio that showcases thoughtful, simple, deliberate intuitive design, with extraordinary interaction, motion, and visuals.

Expertise in Figma & other design, prototyping tools.

Soft Skills:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholders, engineers, and product managers.

Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Expertise in design and prototyping tools (Figma, etc.)

Expertise in creating and managing design systems

Expertise in responsive design for desktop, tablet, and mobile websites

Expertise in native iOS and Android app design

Experience building inclusive and accessible design solutions

Proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and how these elements impact product function

Soft Skills:

Experience in working across geographically diverse teams

Ability to collaborate directly with product managers and software engineers

Familiarity with Agile methodologies within startup and/or tech sector

Proficiency in human-centered design approaches, techniques, and philosophy
