Electrical Engineer

Description:Will be responsible for building system concepts and documentation process from schematics through construction administration phases. Will prepare and monitor project status reports. Will prepare and document required code research for project. Will participate in the development of the project cost model and design to it. Will conduct material and product research as required for project development. Will attend project meetings as necessary and will visit job sites when necessary. Will document interpretation and submittal reviews during bidding and construction administration.Will use Revit and AutoCAD extensively to do the design work. Could be working on a variety of types of projects, including industrial, commercial, automotive, healthcare, higher ed, data centers, etc Some travel could be possible, and they are fine with hybrid work schedule, flexible on the individual. 3-4 days remote in the past, and will clarify with manager on current set up.Skills:Electrical Engineering, Revit MEP, Lighting Power Distribution, Professional EngineerAdditional Skills & Qualifications:MUST HAVES:BS-EE or similar3 plus years of Electrical Engineering work within the architectural/engineering industryKnowledge of all aspects of professional services from schematic design through project close-out, including design and technical expertisePower Distribution, Lighting, and/or security/fire/alarm system design experienceCAD Design skills, with Revit and AutoCADBONUS:Licensed PE in MichiganLEED Accredited8 plus years of experienceAbout Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
