Evaluation: Work with stakeholders across the organization and with Tier-1 suppliers to validate performance of ADS/ADAS.

Conduct hands-on vehicle evaluations in closed-track, public-road, and simulated environments; collect and analyze data.

Configure, modify, and troubleshoot test vehicles, sensors, and data acquisition systems.

Develop, maintain, standardize evaluation processes, protocols, test cases, check sheets.

Customer champion: Identify customer needs through data assessment of technology, infrastructure, driving environment, market, competitors, and social trends. Advocate for ADS performance that delights customers.

Project Leader: Negotiate evaluation goals, set priorities, plan timelines, execute. Monitor issues and key performance indicators for decision making.

Storyteller: Distill data to craft a story through logical, easy-to-understand visualization. Engage proactively with stakeholders toward building consensus.

Develop software tools: Improve testing efficiencies through automation for data collection, analysis, simulation, bench testing and in-vehicle validation.

Continuous Improvement: Provide data-driven proposals for feature modifications or improvements to existing systems, centered around the usability and acceptance of ADS.

Collaborate: Form collaborative partnerships with stakeholders to realize efficiencies through the best use of technology and human resources.

What you bring

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Robotics engineering, Electrical engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical field

Experience in vehicle development, working collaboratively across divisions to achieve milestone deliverables.

Ability for travel, both domestic and international, including extended travel to Japan for training as needed.(15%)

Added bonus if you have

Experience in planning, executing vehicle tests and using data analysis tools for KPI assessment .

Experience leading cross-functional teams toward the development of North American performance requirements.

Experience creating and implementing standardized processes.

Experience with OBD (On-board diagnostics) and CAN (Controller Area Network) tools for diagnostics and troubleshooting.

Experience using Python or similar coding language for automated tool development.

Experience with installation and use of data acquisition equipment for evaluation.

Current member of TMNA R&D.
