- Currently pursuing or having earned a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- C embedded programming experience
- Experience working with microcontrollers or microprocessors (i.e., Arduino, Raspberry Pi)
- Any System Engineering experience (ex: Simulation, UML, use of Systems Modeling Language - SysML)
- Bonus: Robotics, AI/Machine Learning, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Python
- Contribute to the embedded platform system and software design, formulating solutions for how applications interface with the platform capability via SOA services
- Work with software engineering teams to implement system requirements
- Collaborate with simulation teams to virtually validate the embedded platform, including non-motion and motion-related applications
- Define an architecture footprint of overall vehicle so it can be rapidly deployed for a software defined vehicle to realize the growing application ecosystem
- Use industry leading systems modeling tools in a collaborative Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) environment to run engineering analysis for design decisions, evaluation, and requirements verification
