Here, we leverage our technical expertise to deliver innovative services and products that effectively support all operating divisions.This maintenance position plays a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of essential mechanical equipment used throughout the facility. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and executing repairs on a diverse range of equipment, such as mechanical seals, gearboxes, pumps, compressors, and extrusion equipment. The technicians will utilize millwright skills in areas like pipefitting, hydraulic systems, rigging, and laser alignment.During your 8-hour shift as a Equipment Technician, you will

Collaborate with maintenance supervision, technicians, engineers, and production personnel to design and implement modifications to plant equipment.

Enhance equipment reliability by maintaining, analyzing, and troubleshooting systems, while leveraging all available resources. Report findings to supervision along with actionable recommendations.

Support, uphold, and advance the preventive maintenance and mechanical integrity program to ensure optimal equipment reliability.

Deliver high-quality work that adheres to Process Safety Management (PSM) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) standards.

Operate various shop equipment, including band saws, drill presses, grinders, power hand tools, and welding machines.

Actively participate in unit safety meetings and adhere to all BASF site and corporate procedures.

Exhibit a team-oriented attitude that aligns with BASF’s goals and objectives.

Possess strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

Provide on-call support for after-hour production needs, including the willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.

If you

Hold a high school diploma or GED

Have an Associate degree in a maintenance or repair related discipline, or a maintenance trade school diploma or certificate, preferably.

Have a minimum of 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.

Possess a valid driver’s license.
