Our client is a prominent law firm seeking a talented Associate Attorney (3+ years of experience) to join the firm’s dedicated family law practice group. In this role, you'll play a vital role in advocating for the firm’s clients' best interests and ensuring positive outcomes in their family law matters.What you'll do: Become a client champion: Advocate for individuals facing divorce, child custody issues, support agreements, and other domestic relations challenges. Draft with precision: Craft persuasive legal documents like discovery requests, motions, and briefs, ensuring strong arguments and clear case representation. Prepare for court appearances: Assist senior attorneys in preparing for hearings and arguments, with opportunities to gain court experience (first chair not required). Manage cases effectively: Lead client status conferences, manage case deadlines, and keep clients informed throughout the legal process. Collaborate with a supportive team: Work closely with experienced attorneys and paralegals, fostering a collaborative environment where everyone thrives.Who you are: A licensed attorney with 3+ years of experience in domestic relations law. Possess strong legal research and writing skills, with a talent for crafting clear and compelling arguments. Enjoy the detail-oriented nature of legal work and prioritize accuracy and efficiency. Comfortable communicating with clients, understanding their needs, and providing compassionate support.
