The Finance function at WTW serves both internal and external customers: colleagues within our company, client organizations, shareholders, executive leadership, vendors, and regulatory agencies around the world. This Director position will report to the Senior Finance Director of Operations and Technology; and be part of the Corporate Finance team.The individual filling this role will be responsible for providing holistic financial, operational, and analytical support to the Operations and Technology Leadership along with driving strong coordination across the various operations team. The role will own financial performance management processing (budgeting, forecasting, reporting, etc.), ad hoc reporting and analysis, controls compliance, support of Transformational efforts, and assist with setting up the new Operations and Technology organization.This role can be located in the US (Eastern or Central time zones) or in England.Note: Employment-based non-immigrant visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.The RolePartner with Operations and Technology team in creating a framework to capture and measure transformation program costs and savings opportunities across the portfolio for Technology, platform, and operation projects

Manage key processes for creation of Operations organization including cost transfers, managing global budgets, drive efficiencies, and opportunities across the firm.

Help devise new allocation schemes to simplify and improve cost transparency. Work with team to establish long term strategy for allocations and total cost to serve measurements

Act as a valued partner to the Operations and Technology leadership and teams through thoughtful analysis of financial and operational information and provide analysis that helps drive actionable decisions to deliver efficiencies across the firm

Drive strong coordination with Controllership, Operations, and Finance Business Partners, in the execution of restructure and transformation management processes (actuals, forecasting, reporting, etc.) to meet all key internal stakeholder objectives and deadlines

Work seamlessly with Enterprise and Segment FP&A in serving financial reporting and analytic needs in the most efficient and effective way for clients and stakeholders.

Collaborate with Corporate Finance COE analytics hub and utilize BI tools and modeling to deliver metrics, KPIs for Operational and Technology areas.

Assist with Leadership presentations with recommendations and summaries of financial results and cost analysis,

Help work with Operations Technology team to identify key service delivery metrics (SLAs) for Quarterly Business Reviews

Work in partnership across WTW Finance and Controllership to maintain proper control environment and to limit business risk and exposures

Collaborate on ongoing management and execution of FP&A processes and act as a key contributor to identify continuous improvement opportunities for FP&A

The Requirements10+ years related experience in FP&A or Corporate Finance. 1 to 3 years in equivalent leadership positions

Bachelor degree in Accounting/Finance or deep related experience; CPA or MBA preferred

Financial and Business acumen as evidenced by having roles with progressively broader financial responsibilities.

Demonstrated ability to think critically and analytically

Significant analytical skillset, including the utilization of BI and reporting tools

Systems / data knowledge to be able to direct colleagues in the accumulation and synthesis of data into operational recommendations

Attention to accuracy and detail with the ability to understand materiality

Ability to interpret and analyze financial data

Ability to build and maintain strong relationships in a collaborative fashion with strong influencing skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to convey financial messages to senior leadership in a succinct and credible manner

Must be a hands-on, self-starter with the ability to handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

Must be able to work within a matrix organization to collaborate with others across segments and geographies

Ability to resolve exceptions and disputes as well as manage client expectations

Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
