Food Server and Delivery Driver

As a key member of the Forefront Healthcare team, you will play a dual role in providing exceptional food service and delivery for Pine Rest Christian Mental Health. This hybrid position combines responsibilities as a Driver and Server, ensuring meals, snacks, and floor stock are delivered and served with professionalism, care, and adherence to food safety standards. You will serve as a liaison between the food service department and patient units, delivering meals and snacks, stocking units, and setting up service areas to meet the dietary needs of patients.Key Responsibilities:Driving and Delivery:Safely transport patient meal carts and snacks to designated units on time.Follow hospital policies and best practices for safety while driving and loading/unloading trucks.Communicate effectively to address any issues with deliveries or schedules.Food Service:Assist in setting up service areas and patient trays for meal service while adhering to food safety guidelines.Serve meals, ensuring all dietary restrictions and preferences are followed.Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of service areas and equipment.General Responsibilities:Stock patient units with meals, snacks, and supplies.Follow all safety, sanitation, and storage protocols in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Provide excellent customer service in all interactions with patients, staff, and team members.Assist with additional tasks as assigned, including cross-functional kitchen duties.
