Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in Bingham Farms, Michigan. This role involves a range of accounting functions within a CPA firm setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as maintaining customer records, processing credit applications, and managing customer inquiries. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage financial statements preparation and journal entries posting Handle the processing and reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable Utilize accounting software systems, particularly QuickBooks, to manage financial data Conduct annual budget reviews and cash flow analysis Ensure accurate and timely preparation of payroll taxes Reconcile bank accounts regularly to maintain accurate financial records Solve problems and undertake new tasks as they arise, demonstrating adaptability and initiative Maintain strong communication with clients and team members to ensure smooth operations Leverage Microsoft Excel skills for data management and analysis Continuously improve accounting functions and procedures for increased efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role. Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with Accounting Functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Familiarity with the preparation and analysis of the Annual Budget. Experience in Cash Flow Analysis. Proficiency in QuickBooks software. Understanding of Payroll Taxes. Ability to Reconcile Bank Accounts. Experience with posting Journal Entries. Excellent communication and organizational skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred. Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent time management skills.
