GIS Analyst

Essential Functions: Preform a wide variety of analytical and geoprocessing functions to create, maintain and retrieve data Monitor of GIS environment GIS Enterprise Portal (ArcGIS Server/Portal), ArcGIS Online, and SQL Relational database Assist in the development of GIS solutions using ArcGIS software to enhance existing and future GIS projects Responsible for meeting with the business and evaluating project/request requirements and providing guidance/solutions accordingly Develop geographic databases, including designs and models. Comprehensive working knowledge of database concepts (including SQL DB) Assist with field data collection using ArcGIS Survey123 and ArcGIS Collector Assist with training and technical support of end users and stakeholders Required Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education: Bachelor's Degree- in Geography, Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, or a closely related field Competencies (Required): Experience as a GIS Analyst working with ESRI Product suite- 3 years Experience related to GIS concepts, geoprocessing functions/techniques, and spatial database management procedures- 2 years Experience of GIS programming/scripting languages (Python, SQL)- 2 years Experience with Autodesk's AutoCAD, BIM, and the conversion into GIS- 2 years Strong written and oral communication skills Attention to detail, customer focus, teamwork, and interpersonal skills Competencies (Preferred): Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and easily transition from one task to another to complete projects in a timely manner General knowledge of Maximo Asset Management System Experience with subsurface utility mapping Experience with interior building mapping and wayfinding Experience working with relational and versioned database Licenses and Certifications (Preferred): Geographic Information Science Certificate or equivalent
