Description Our client in the auto industry is seeking a Service Appointment Scheduler. Experience in the dealership industry is highly preferred. This position is in the Ypsilanti area and fully onsite paying $16/hr. Duties include but are not limited to, answering all Service department phone calls, scheduling Service appointments and coordination Mobile Service and Pickup & Delivery Service appointments.This is an exciting full-time position and requires great people skills, exemplary phone skills, and the ability to maintain up-to-date reporting, handling and response to emails and various other tasks throughout the day on a consistent basis.Must have:2 years or more of office/clerical skillsExcellent people skillsExcellent data entry skillsAbility to multitask Requirements Proficiency in using 'About Time' software for effective time management Experience in answering inbound calls and providing exceptional customer service Familiarity with claim administration processes and procedures Ability to perform data entry tasks quickly and accurately Experience with switchboard operations, handling between 1 and 10 lines Proficiency in confirming, booking, and scheduling appointments Strong organizational skills to manage multiple appointments and schedules Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Demonstrated problem-solving abilities to address guest concerns and issues Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Previous experience in a guest services role is preferred.
