Description Location: Southfield/Farmington Hills MICompany Overview: Our client, a publicly traded service company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various HR functions, exceptional communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.Key Responsibilities:

Onboarding: Manage and enhance the onboarding process to ensure a seamless experience for new hires.

Performance Management: Oversee performance review processes, set performance goals, and implement strategies to improve employee performance.

Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, mediate disputes, and promote a positive and inclusive workplace environment.

Employment Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.

Retention: Develop and implement strategies to retain top talent and reduce turnover rates.

Hiring: Lead the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selecting candidates.

Terminations: Handle employee terminations with professionalism and sensitivity, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Employee Performance Reviews: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to employees.

Benefits Administration: Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits.

Multi-State Payroll Back-Up: Assist with payroll processing across multiple states as needed.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR management, with a focus on onboarding, performance management, employee relations, employment compliance, retention, hiring, terminations, employee performance reviews, benefits administration, and multi-state payroll processing.

Certifications: HR professional designation (SPHR, PHR, or similar) is required.

Skills: Exceptional communication, collaboration, and team-building skills.
