Job Description:Supports all aspects of ICS compliance. Role is essential in ensuring internal controls over financial statements are in place and working properly through working with management in identifying key processes and control points for compliance.Main Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor the completion of control self-assessments including control documentation effectiveness testing and applicable deficiency remediation. Review and evaluate existing and proposed internal controls over manual and automated processes.
- Responsible for working with management in remediating control deficiencies.
- Recommending and verifying implementation of control gap remediation plans.
- Provide training, coaching and guidance on ICS requirements and internal control related areas.
- Partner with Process Owners in assessing & documenting the impact of business changes on internal controls and the related methods used to test the effectiveness of those controls.
- Responsible for performing tests of controls and entity level controls.
- Work with internal and external audit teams and Client ICS compliance team in Compliance efforts.
- Summarize and present compliance status and results to management and external auditors.
- Identify opportunities to streamline compliance activities (controls, processes).
- Strong knowledge of Internal Controls and ability to develop and analyze effective control procedures required (Sarbanes Oxley / Internal Control Systems).
- Working knowledge of US GAAP/IFRS preferred.
- External Financial Reporting and/or Portfolio a plus.
- Strong Microsoft application skills including Access, Excel, PowerPoint & SAP.
- Excellent communication skills required including written and verbal along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to present information to individuals or large groups.
- Well organized and have strong time management skills.
- Strong prioritization skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage & coordinate multiple competing priorities and requests.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with colleagues and senior leaders in the business groups and across finance and multiple locations.
- Self-starter that works well either independently or as part of a larger group.
