Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an In House Counsel in the insurance industry, based in Detroit, Michigan. Responsibilities Handling in-house litigation matters with a focus on insurance defense Providing expert advice on insurance coverage issues Representing the organization in trials, ensuring effective legal defense Utilizing knowledge of Personal Injury Law in handling various cases Acting as the primary attorney for the organization, handling all legal queries and concerns Ensuring all legal activities adhere to the organization's policy and legal regulations.Requirements Applicant should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar legal role such as In House Counsel Proficiency in Insurance Coverage is required Strong familiarity with Personal Injury Law is essential Demonstrable experience in Insurance Defense is necessary Valid license to practice law is required Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills High degree of detail orientation and integrity Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information Outstanding organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Excellent negotiation and decision-making skills.
