Infotainment Release Engineer. The right person for this position will have high energy, a positive attitude, and a high attention to detail, and an unwavering commitment to teamwork.

Summary :The main function of an infotainment engineer is to oversee the design, development , and integration of automotive electronic controllers, especially audio systems, throughout the vehicle design process. A typical infotainment engineer is responsible for resolving system issues and coordinating system software build releases.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Pro-actively interact with multiple suppliers to coordinate software build
  • Define and document system level issues between components of the subsystem .
  • Interact with suppliers to resolve system issues.
  • Review test logs to determine where subsystem issues reside .
  • Coordinate system software releases to other development teams and business units .
  • Run integration meetings, create minute, create and track action item lists.
  • Troubleshoot Captured Test Fleet
  • Travel as needed to support

Skills:
  • Experience with common electrical test equipment (meter, scopes, ).
  • Experience with the GMLAN serial data communication
  • Experience with common serial data test equipment (CAT, SCAT, NeoVI, SDA TT, DiComPhySys, DPS Tool, ).
  • Knowledgeable Vehicle Serial Data Communication across MOST, LAN, and LIN
  • Experience with automotive electrical systems and functional sub-systems .
  • Knowledge of engineering software and systems as it pertains to Audio Systems.
  • Specific knowledge of varying engineering disciplines, such as mechanics , physics , metallurgy , manufacturing methods, electronics, soft ware , and/or control systems
  • High level analytical ability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Education / Experience:
  • Bachelor 's Degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering , Metallurgical Engineering, Computer Science , Mathematics, Chemistry , Physics, or related technical
  • 10+ years of experience required .
