Infrastructure Azure Architect

• 10 years’ experience in Infrastructure design and architect of technologies such as Azure Cloud and Vmware
• Define and execute technology vision, strategy, and roadmaps, guiding principles, policies, processes, infrastructure architecture, and planning for all customer infrastructure initiatives
• Liaison with Infrastructure Mangers to ensure awareness of Infrastructure Architecture and roadmaps
• Champion Infrastructure Architecture core principles, ensuring compliance across all Group IT Infrastructure activities
• Provides support to the Lead Infrastructure Architect to develop the strategic vision and architectural direction for infrastructure within the Enterprise
• Provide consultancy to support platform projects and create ad-hoc infrastructure designs
• Evaluate current infrastructure technology
• Train and mentor other Infrastructure team members
• Gather, analyze and drive project requirements, design and implement multi-layer infrastructure architecture components
• Ownership of the Global Infrastructure Architecture function
• Drive strategy and oversee all Infrastructure technology and its overall integration

• Ensuring that the Infrastructure Architecture team deliver the architectural engagements led by other areas of Global Technology
• Represents the Lead Infrastructure Architect as required at architecture governance reviews, such as ARB (Architecture Review Board), EAB (Enterprise Architecture Board), IAR (Intermediate Architecture Review) etc
• Meets with a broad range of business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements for the design of infrastructure solutions
• Acts as the primary infrastructure contact for applications across the Enterprise, with a focus on resiliency, Safety & Soundness, non-functional requirements, scalability and security that is both pragmatic and that lays the foundation for a long-term strategy
• Provide to the clients consultancy about technical infrastructure
• Ensure a smooth implementation of new technologies into the computer system infrastructure
• Create and maintain comprehensive and detailed documentation for all production systems, architectural frameworks - Resolve complex infrastructure issues & outages
• High-end changes like change in cluster, hardware replacement, software/driver Upgradation on production systems
