We offer a comprehensive range of vehicle inspection services to verify the condition of new, off-lease and fleet vehicles and other properties at vehicle assembly plants, rail yards, ports, customers’ homes, dealers and auctions.

Due to its success and excellent service, AiM is rapidly growing and its IT/Legal Division now seeks a IT Compliance Coordinator that will analyze, develop, deploy, and operate privacy and security processes and systems, work with customers and vendors on third-party risk management assessments, and educate AiM employees on key Security and Privacy requirements and best practices. This position will report to IT Security Compliance Manager.

The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with multiple levels of the AiM organization. The role requires a detailed oriented individual that thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys multi-tasking. This role is temporarily remote due to the pandemic

Job Duties/Responsibilities include:

1. Partner with the legal and business side and assist in determining and implementing privacy and security requirements for new business and technology projects.

2. Privacy Impact Assessments, privacy and security risk remediation, and set requirements and project management of Security projects.

3. Respond to customers’ third-party risk assessments concerning data privacy, operational, legal and other risk management matters.

4. Conduct risk assessments and communicate both detailed and summarized results to key Technology, Legal and business process stakeholders.

5. Participate and coordinate security and compliance items as it relates to the annual SOC II Type II audit or any related audit activities.

6. Create training programs and educate employees on all privacy and compliance related matters

7. Regular and consistent attendance and availability.

Supervisory Responsibilities:None, however will provide basic work direction usually one-on-one

Required Skills:

  • Job Knowledge and Skill:Excellent strategic thinking skills, creative problem solving and analytical skills; Familiarity with project management principles and methodologies; Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day responsibilities; Detail oriented, highly focused and very organized; Ability to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm; Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
  • Experience:Background in risk management, data privacy, or law

  • Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations:Bachelor’s degree in legal or related field required; Master’s degree in related preferred; Security industry certification preferred (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM); IAPP privacy certification (e.g. CIPT, CIPP, CIPM) preferred.

  • Computer Skills:Working knowledge of power point, word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available.

  • Communication Skills:Ability to excel in a team environment required. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Analytical Skills:Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research.

  • Travel: Light to frequent overnight travel.

  • Compensation:
Salaried/exempt – TBD upon hiring, Benefits including medical, dental, vision, LTD, life insurance and 401 K participation.

No relocation will be paid

Full Time employees are eligible to participate in the company group benefit plans, including medical, dental and 401k (upon completion of the first 60 days of employment, 90 for 401k, and beginning on the first of the next month).
