The Data Scientist (Level 1) supports the organization with consumer insight and analytics relative to global corporate strategy of Cadillac products, services, and customer experience. Technical know-how will be offered by the personnel to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of data and reports. The data scientist will gather, organize, and present in ways that will aid the organization in making data-driven decisions. Required Qualification: • Develop a deep understanding of a business area and the data required for decision and actions within that unit• Facilitate data consumption across business units by understanding the needs and publishing content to meet them• Translate from business data requirements into actionable data deliverables utilizing technical solutions• Create clear and concise presentations of project results including, high quality visualizations to present to leadership• Experience in translating business needs to analytical solutions, influencing decisions through turning raw data into compelling stories, and completing the project life cycle through achieving measurable outcomes• Proven experience working with complex data and analytics projects as the primary liaison with business partners/leaders• A proclivity for quantitative concepts, including academic/professional experience in one or more of the following fields: Information Management, Computer Science, statistics, or a related field; An advanced degree in a related field is preferred.• Proven ability to integrate data from many sources, identifying yet unasked questions, and capitalizing on opportunities to advance business goals• Proven expertise in the use of either Tableau (On Premise and Server). Expertise with techniques and methodologies for analyzing large data sets•
Experience with Alteryx required- while certification is a plus but not required.• Expert level knowledge of SQL and NoSql capabilities. Versed in interacting with relational and non-relational database solutions Work Site Description: Work From HomeComments for Program Office: This new position will support current employee For project planning purposes, here are some of the elements this person would immediately support: • Assisting the team in maintaining Project for day-to-day refreshes (in Tableau) while the supervisor works on updates like Proactive monitoring, improving UX• Assistance in creating a problem-solving framework (a handbook to efficiently monitor and manage projects @Cadillac• Take a lead in transferring from test servers to Dev environment, enabling the appropriate IT team to adopt and maintain in future• Assist in migrating Tableau reports to PowerBI server• Help set guidelines and support the design thinking principles by providing insights like A/B testing, etc. Candidate Requirement · Masters Degree or Equivalent experience in Data Science or Statistics · Experience with Alteryx required- while certification is a plus but not required. · 3-5 years in the industry preferred but not required · Expertise with techniques and methodologies for analyzing large data sets · Versed in interacting with relational and non-relational database solutionsTop must-have hard skills1.
