Due to its success and excellent service, AiM is rapidly growing and its Information Technology Division now seeks a Engineer that reports to a Technical Delivery Manager and will be responsible for performing Quality Assurance on one of Aim many platforms. Responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts.).The candidate will have the opportunity to interact with multiple levels of the Aim organization. Essential Job Functions:- Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases.
- End to End testing.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts using approved tools.
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements.
- Investigate the causes of non-conforming software and train users to implement solutions.
- Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.

- Has no supervisory responsibility, provides basic work direction usually one-on-one

- 4 or more years of Quality Assurance experience. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience in automation of test cases.
- Proven work experience in software development
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Experience with front-end and backend testing.
- Experience with SQL and scripting a plus
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Automation experience with phone devices a plus
- Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations: BS or BA degree preferred
- Working knowledge of power point, word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology as it becomes available. Proficient in System Administration and Networking concepts.
- Ability to excel in a team environment required. Must be able to successfully interface with multiple departments. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills required with strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research
