IT Technical Delivery Manager Remote

• Client which was started in 2005, is continuously growing, and its Information Technology Division now seeks an IT Technical Delivery Manager who will assume full and complete ownership of designated application components all the way from conception and design to delivery and support.
• This is a 100% remote position.

• Client is looking for an IT Technical Delivery Manager to join our IT team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for leading a development team on issues related to the design, development, quality, and deployment of information and software systems.
• They will use their communication and problem-solving skills to supervise activities related to the design and implementation of systems, along with providing support, maintaining, and upgrading existing systems and applications.
• Must have proven hands-on leadership skills and the ability to lead by example and drive multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
• Experience in complex, fast-paced environments is required.
• Undertake full and complete ownership of designated application components all the way from conception, design and test to delivery and support.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Application Architects, Developers, QA, DevOps, and Security teams for design, development, testing, maintenance, and support.
• Plan, implement and ensure that delivery milestones are met. Participate in quarterly planning as it relates to the application components that you support.
• Improve business processes and support critical business strategies by managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of business application systems.
• Provide solutions using design patterns, common techniques, and industry best practices that meet the typical challenges/requirements of a core application including usability, performance, security, resiliency, compatibility, and scalability.
• Proactively recognize system deficiencies and implement effective solutions.
• Participate in, contribute to, and assimilate changes, enhancements, requirements (functional and non-functional), and requirements traceability.
• Apply significant knowledge of industry trends and developments to improve in-house practices and services to support client Confidential Information.
• Provide Level-3 support. Provide application knowledge and training to Level-2 and Level-1 support teams.
• Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. This Technical Delivery Manager will be required to work with and coordinate with multiple teams and report to leadership and executives.
• Must be a people person that can effectively lead and guide teams and users from all organization levels.
• Ability to conduct code and design reviews.
• Regular and consistent attendance and availability.

• Supervisory Responsibilities:
• Has full supervisory responsibility for medium to large groups of usually skilled and highly skilled employees

• Knowledge through current or prior hands-on experience with a modern web applications, enterprise applications, API & Webservices and mobile application development platforms
• (Java, Python, Android Development, Net), integrations, data and reporting;
• AWS cloud experience including experience with AWS development & deployment methodologies (containers, elastic beanstalk, lambdas, etc. )
• Experience with developing apps that are using Github or BitBucket and Release Pipelines (like Jenkins pipelines)
• Experience with APIs and microservice concepts
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize day-to-day responsibilities; Detail-oriented,highly focused, and very organized;
• Ability to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm; Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships;
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• (Scrum, Lean, XP, Kanban) and cross-functional teams (Business Owners, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Designers, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, DevSecOps/CloudOps)preferred

• 7+ years of experience in end-to-end application platform/service delivery with at least 2+ years of team leading experience
• Experience in managing offshore associates
• Education, Licenses, Certificates, Registrations:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
• Computer Skills
• Working knowledge of power point, word processor, spreadsheet, other PC applications, ability to adapt to new technology asit becomes available.
• Communication Skills
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment; Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills are required with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to source, disseminate and properly apply secondary research
