Position Description:This request is to fill a Software Engineer position on the Over the Air Updates - Connectivity & Cloud Delivery teamThe Software Engineer will be a part of a Product Team that is responsible for delivering high-quality features and products that support various connected vehicle initiativesThe Software Engineer will collaborate with the Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Designer, and a number of other Software Engineers to lead systems design, development, testing, and operations activitiesThe Software Engineer will be responsible for working with a variety of technologies for cloud development Skills Required:Assume the role of Software Engineer with responsibilities to Define, Design, Develop, and Deploy applications/services and proofs-of-concept to support new and existing vehicle products and enhancementsCollaborate with the Product Manager to ensure quality and on-time delivery of products using agile and test driven development principlesRequired to work with the Product Manager, and Product Designer to contribute to shaping the technology and tooling direction of the product and Location Based Services product lineReview and support product defect analysis effortsParticipate in integrated testing across the Connected Vehicle ecosystem to ensure end-to-end product qualityDirectly contribute to development activities utilizing Software Craftsmanship/Clean Code/Extreme Programming principles
