GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Finish the assembly of audio cables and harnesses using various connector types

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Close cables and harnesses using hand tools and techniques

- General shop duties

- Follow quality control procedures

- Accurately read work orders

- Ensure proper documentation travels with finished products

- Assist in other departments as needed

- All other functions/responsibilities assigned by supervisor

MINOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain a clean workstation

- Monitor inventory levels of parts used and notify Purchasing when orders need to be placed

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:

Education:

- High School Diploma or GED or working towards

KEY COMPETENCIES:

- Use of basic hand tools

- Work quickly and efficiently

- A positive attitude and professional behavior are required

- Ability to learn quickly, understand work orders and discern between different part numbers

- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members and different departments

- Drug use will not be tolerated

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Ability to stand or work at a bench for extended periods of time

- Ability to work with hands for extended periods of time

- Able to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
