We are seeking a talented and professional short-term contract / temporary Software Developer in the Lansing, Michigan area. We're looking for someone to be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company, so if that's you, apply today! Candidates with a growth mindset and the ability to work both independently and with a team will be the best fit for this position.Key responsibilities- This is the perfect job for you if you want work where you will maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems- Join up with Scrum team to ensure factual work estimates- Steadily fulfill code-review and associate with other developers- Provide clear and consistent communication around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams- Arrange and supply production support Requirements - Less than one year of experience preferred - Experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc.- Solid understanding of navigating basic office equipment and protocols - Applicants should have familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database) - Applicants should have knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF - Applicants should be able to write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments - If you have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc., you will be strongly preferred - Applicants should have familiarity with scrum- Experience documenting, crafting, and testing APIs Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
