Position Description:The Automotive Pro Intelligence/ Enterprise Connectivity team is looking for a Lead Software Engineer / Tech Anchor to provide strong technical leadership to the development teamThis position will play a key role in rolling out the new digital product and services to the automotive Pro Intelligence's commercial customersThe candidate should possess a strong passion for technology, software craftsmanship, and agile software developmentFull-stack development technical skills are needed to help with the development and launch of the solution The role requires that a successful candidateStrictly adopts Technology and Architecture standardsProvides and enforces software craftsmanship standardsProvide technical leadership to solve problems and remove blockers for product teamsPair programs frequently to stay ahead of on the codebase/tech stackCoordinate reuse, architecture, and interoperability strategyFoster full-stack software engineering, using Object-Oriented software design, with Agile/Iterative development using PDO methodologiesFoster DevOps CI/CD infrastructure and an Automated Testing mentality and capabilityChampion continuous technical improvement for the platform, pursue tech debt opportunitiesOwn tech stack direction and find innovative opportunities to bring in new technologiesLeverages logging tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace to support DevOps and debug production issues
Skills Required:Java, SpringBoot, APIs, DLL, Windows Application Development, Agile, CI/CD, Jenkins, DevOps, Vue.js, SQL, GitHub, JSON, Swagger, Cucumber, JIRA, and SonarQube, TDD Skills Preferred:Experience with C, Windows App Development, Java middleware experience is plus Experience Required:5+ years of experience in enterprise software development2+ years of recent/current experience as an anchor or recognized as a software engineering team lead.
