We are assisting our client to find a compassionate and caring licensed Social Worker to fill a 3-month job in Mount Clemens, Michigan. This position is requires traveling to youths' homes, school and community so the therapist must be available throughout the day with a valid driver's license. Shift 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.

Mount Clemens is located about 25 miles northeast of Detroit. The Clinton River passes through here as it makes its way to nearby Lake St. Clair. Spend the day playing at Metropolitan Beach Metropark on Lake St. Clair.Lake St. Clair is a freshwater lake excellent for fishing any time of year. With over 160 miles of shoreline to explore, you are sure to discover your own personal passions here.

Responsibilities of the Social Worker
Provide assistance to aid patients with community resources, financial, or placement into an alternative setting.
Responsible for integrating, facilitating, and coordinating patient care
Provides direct clinical services including, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, and counseling as appropriate
Provide case coordination and therapeutic education services.
Provide excellent patient care and compassion.

Requirements of the Social Worker
Masters degree in social work, counseling, or psychology with an interest in treating serious mental health issues in youth.
All applicants should be license eligible in Michigan (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, LLP).
New graduates are welcome and licensure supervision is offered.
Drivers license: Therapy is conducted in the youth s community, so therapists must be available throughout the day to travel to the youth s home, school, and community.

Compensation of the Social Worker
Salary: $69-74/hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.
