Job Title: Electrical Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionWe are seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to work on machines that create drive shafts for powertrain components. This role involves working with machines such as balancers, friction welders, snap ring presses, straighteners, CNC lathes, electromagnetic welders, and CNC rolling machines. The candidate will work with 3-phase, 480V systems and will utilize their industrial troubleshooting experience to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment. As this is a union facility, the focus will be strictly on electrical issues with the machinery.Responsibilities
Work on machines that create drive shafts for powertrain components.
Handle electrical troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair tasks.
Work with 3-phase, 480V systems in an industrial setting.
Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
Utilize skills in PLC troubleshooting and working with Allen-Bradley equipment.
Essential Skills
8+ years of experience troubleshooting PLCs.
8+ years of experience with 3-phase motors, 480V.
8+ years of experience with electrical installations and repairs in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
8+ years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
High school diploma or GED.
Must own basic tools (no specialty tools needed).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Journeyman Card.
Experience with CNC Benders.
Experience with Allen-Bradley PLC troubleshooting.
