Responsible for actively resolving complex ongoing and long-term needs of the business with a focus on the analysis of processes-dissecting problems and developing solutions. Recognizedexpert internally and externally within a discipline(s) and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services.WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE GOOD Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses relating to the development of manufacturing process strategy. Work to align solutions with business initiatives improving processes by understanding and controlling variation, thus improving predictability of business processes.

Identifies processes for improvement, documents existing processes, identifies and analyzes gaps between current processes and the desired state, designs new processes, develops process performance measures.

Plans the transition of new process to execution function. Works on large, complex projects that have enterprise-wide impact and require subject matter expertise of multiple process improvement areas and mastery of process improvement tools. Acts as team leader for projects.

Participates in continuous review and update to ensure that processes meet changing business unit conditions. Works with functional groups and internal business clients to develop short- and long-term system plans. Serves as Subject Matter Expert advisor and participant in planning and prioritization for business process engineering related activities, including developing the business unit process engineering plan and integrating that plan with the corporate plan.

Pay Information : The salary range for this position is $93,000-118,000

Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

4-year college degree in Business, engineering, or related field

Minimum 7-10 years of related experience

Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities; effectively analyze problems and recommend appropriate solutions.

Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to deal with all levels of staff.

Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications preferred.

May travel and participate in meetings and conferences throughout Red Cross system

Must demonstrate expertise in strategic planning, tactical execution, project management, process

management and business systems requirements definition.

Must understand technical problems and solutions in relation to the current, as well as the future business environment.

Six Sigma certification a plus

Background in red-cell manufacturing
