The Electrical Designer, Senior has an intermediate level of design autonomy and performs their job functions under the supervision of a project’s Engineer-of-Record. The Electrical Designer IV works on matters of intermediate to advanced complexity. This role is expected to work closely with other architects, engineers, and designers, as well as other internal and external team members to ensure a coordinated, constructible, and complete design. Other tasks include assisting with 3D modeling and design, conducting field investigations, performing independent design tasks, and producing discipline deliverables.ResponsibilitiesAbility to interface with client and external partnersPlan work and manage budget from an electrical design perspectiveMentor Designer I staffConduct quality checking of documents, e.g., technical verification of design calculations and documentation,Interface with internal and external cross-discipline project design and construction team membersInterface with manufacturers and vendors to support the electrical designWork on a variety of electrical assignments supporting all phases of design including initial programming, planning, feasibility, scope and concept development, detailed design, construction documentation, and construction administration.Work closely with architectural, engineering, and construction staff members to ensure assignments are completed accurately and efficiently
