Minimum Qualifications
  • Knowledge and experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls
  • Extensive knowledge in Cisco Nexus 7K, 5K and 2K series
  • Ability to collaborate with others to identify risks and find solutions to meet business needs
  • Experience installing firewalls and building new DMZ networks
  • Extensive knowledge of routing protocols (BGP and OSPF), switching, VLAN Trunking Protocol, network segmentation, leaf and spine topology and NX-OS
  • Experience with Arista networks is good to have.
  • Knowledge to build secure solutions that are also scalable and do not impact the client experience
  • Experience with IPsec VPN and SSL VPN remote access
Preferred Qualifications
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with the next generation Palo Alto Firewall migration
  • Experience in upgrading Cisco Nexus environment
  • Network Automation experience
Job SummaryThe Network Engineer monitors, operates, installs and maintains the network infrastructure. This includes developing the network architecture to meet business needs. The Network Engineer is also responsible for network security monitoring, leading technology implementation teams, supporting and maintaining high availability infrastructure, and developing and implementing network security policies.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate business requirements and make recommendations for implementations
  • Evaluate new technology and network processes
  • Develop planning and implementation documentation
  • Lead technology implementation/integration and oversee projects
  • Implement performance-monitoring tools
  • Develop test plans, network architecture and designs to meet business needs
  • Upgrade firewalls and switches based on business needs
