Description:TEKsystems client in Oscoda, Michigan has seen their business grow significantly over the past few years and have continued to grow within their industry. They have operations spanning across the country and have a major facility in Oscoda, MI.Our client is looking to add a network individual to their team in Oscoda, Michigan. Currently they have about 7 people in this group in Ypsilanti and a several others on site in Oscoda, MI and are looking to find a well rounded Network Administrator to the group as they continue to grow the business. At present their team is made up several network generalists. They have basically established their enterprise IT environment, but now are looking to really optimize and build from the current foundation. They are looking for someone that can help out with their overall network environment when it comes to configuring Cisco Switches, Routers, Fortinet Firewalls, and helping out with their SD-WAN environment. Ideally this person will have exposure to projects re-building a datacenter or overhauling a datacenter environment. Another nice to have would be experience with fiber cabling.Technical Environment:
3500 users & about 300 servers within the environment (Windows Server 08-2022)
Have Data Centers in Oscoda & Ypsilanti. Ypsilanti location was recently overhauled and refreshed, but Oscoda is a work in progress
Cisco routers and switches (versions 5200, 5400)
SDWAN is implemented for their core Ypsilanti, Oscoda, and several other locations.
Currently utilizing Dell PowerMax & Dell Data Domain to back up camera systems
Utilizing Network Attached Storage and currently have 3 VMware ESXI servers set up
They have a hybrid environment and are starting to have applications sit in the cloud within their Azure environment.
SDWAN sits on Fortinet hardware
