Overall Purpose: Forecasts and prioritizes daily support services regarding requests for damage, construction, legal mandates, adds and changes. Good peer/team and cross functional working relationship.Key Roles and Responsibilities: Coordinates the maintenance support activities at the customer site or remotely from company location. Assesses force qualification requirements based on anticipated incoming customer work items and recommends necessary training or identifies force movement to meet needs. Organizes technical and administrative support activities including construction, damage, preventative maintenance, material management or engineering change upgrades. Ensures that all functions are performed in a timely fashion and meet customer and company specifications. Makes scheduling recommendations for field personnel responding to critical situations. Complies with applicable FCC Network outage reporting requirements. Job Contribution: Developing technical professional with some experience. Completes moderately complex work within discipline/specialty area. Contributes to development of concepts/methods/techniques. Moderate team impact. KNOWLEDGE Has expanded technical knowledge in own discipline/specialty area. Applies broader knowledge of discipline/specialty area standards to work assignments. Sound understanding of 1 to 2 specific AT&T technologies/systems/procedures. Deepens technical knowledge through exposure and continuous learning. ANALYSIS/PROBLEM SOLVING Identifies problems/issues. Solves non-routine problems by independently applying judgment to established analysis and standard approaches. Integrates/evaluates multiple factors to develop creative practical solutions. INDEPENDENCE Guided by project and work deadlines; sets own priorities. Uses discretion to complete assignments; independently applies knowledge of technical practices and specialty area standards. Independently completes assignments; participates in diverse projects. CONTRIBUTION TO AT&T TECHNOLOGY Supports technical initiatives normally as part of a larger project. Works on new technologies development and/or existing technologies maintenance. Contributes to milestone project completion. COMMUNICATION Exchanges complex technical information. Provides training/guidance to others in work area breaking down information in a systematic/logical manner. Cultivates good peer working relationships.Education: Typically a high school diploma, GED or equivalent related administrative or network experience; additional technical training desired. Experience: Typically 1-3 years of technical analytical experience and previous construction or engineering experience. Working knowledge of Construction & Engineering Systems (Granite, AVSQ, OVALS, JAMM, SHOTS) preferred. Strong written and verbal communications are required. Supervisory: No. Environmental Requirements: This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.Principal Functional Skills / Competencies associated with this Title:Analytical Thinking
