- Manages the daily administration of a network security environment
- Monitors Crowdstrike antivirus systems and BitSight security rating system
- Monitors and remediates incidents and alerts on M365/Azure environments
- Assists with the daily administration of a network/server environment
- Monitors network performance and perform testing to provide a diagnosis of issues and to assist with the deployment of a solution
- Performs routine updates and maintenance tasks to eliminate security threats
- Responsible for maintaining technical documentation
- Work closely with the IT Systems Security Manager to remediate security threats
- Adhere closely to established standards and best practices
- Maintain thorough documentation
- Monitor and ensure the reliability, security, and integrity of the network and servers while maximizing uptime
- Identify and resolve server and network problems
- Assume primary responsibility for wired and wireless networks and technical support when required
- Assume primary responsibility for AD, DNS/DHCP, applications, servers, Cisco VoIP Phone systems, enterprise backups, virtualization environment, and NAS systems as needed
- Configure and install server and network hardware
- Upgrade and patch server and network operating systems and software as needed
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3-5 years’ equivalent work experience in Computer Science or Cybersecurity
