Registered Nurse - OB/GYN
Kalamazoo, Michigan
myRNStaffing Solutions is assisting our client in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to hire a hard-working, compassionate and caring Registered Nurse. This is an exciting and rewarding 3 or 6-month assignment working days in Labor and Delivery. Must be willing to float to Antepartum and Mother Baby. The hospital L&D model has 12 labor rooms, 7 triage beds, 3 operating rooms, 4 recovery rooms, 10 antepartum beds separate Mother/Baby/postpartum unit with 30 beds.
Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse
As a registered nurse working for our client, you will:
- Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting.
- Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care.
- Communicates with physicians about changes in patient s clinical condition including: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies.
- EPIC; GE Connect (fetal monitoring program), Phillips fetal monitoring machine, sigma pumps, nitrous oxide.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
- Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision.
- Float to mother baby & antepartum.
Requirements
- RN in Michigan
- NRP
- AWHONN intermediate or advanced EFM, ACLS, BLS
- Current experience of over 1 year in Labor & Delivery, preferably high risk units.
Compensation
- Salary: $91-94/hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.
