Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Office Administrator in Dowagiac, Michigan. In this role, you will be leading independent office operations, managing customer service, and executing clerical duties. You will also be tasked with maintaining venue and property, scheduling appointments, and ensuring office management stays on track.Responsibilities include: Leading and managing day-to-day operations of the office Handling customer service tasks including responding to inquiries and resolving issues Scheduling appointments and managing calendars to ensure efficient office operations Overseeing venue and property maintenance to ensure a conducive work environment Performing clerical duties such as data entry, email correspondence, and record keeping Utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for administrative tasks like creating labels and managing communications Coordinating events and meetings, including preparing minutes and records Handling inbound and outbound calls professionally and efficiently Ensuring the office manager's schedule is managed effectively and tasks are prioritized Utilizing strong administrative skills to ensure office operations run smoothly. Requirements Proven experience as an Office Administrator or similar role with a minimum of 2 years of experience Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Excellent customer service skills and experience handling inbound and outbound calls Proficiency in data entry and email correspondence Experience in managing schedules, appointments, and coordinating events Familiarity with receptionist duties Strong capability in calendar management and scheduling meetings Experience in recording and preparing minutes of meetings Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
