Job DescriptionOne of our automotive clients is looking for an OBD Engineer who will be responsible for delivering, validating, and maintaining on-board diagnostic (OBD) solutions for powertrain technologies needed to meet diagnostic regulatory requirements.Additional responsibilities in this role include:- Develop and deliver reliability and Robustness Documentation (DFMEA, P-Diagrams, Boundary Diagrams, Calibration Guidelines, Diagnostics Operations Summary, and Fault Demonstration Methods)- Perform diagnostic routines, report findings and give recommendations to improve system reliability and durability- Perform HIL/SIL, on-road, emissions, and dynamometer data collection to validate and calibrate diagnostic monitoring capability of new powertrain technologies- Identify and aid in resolving OBD issues with internal and external stakeholders- Author scripts using MatLab, Python, or other scripting languages to analyze system/diagnostic behavior and support the calibration processWe are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
