Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database instances across various environments

Design and implement database structures, tables, and schemas to support application needs

Monitor database performance, identifying and addressing issues related to queries, indexing, and execution plans

Optimize database performance through performance tuning, query optimization, and index management

Implement security measures, access controls, and encryption to protect sensitive data

Manage backup and recovery operations to ensure data availability and integrity

Plan and execute data migration, replication, and high availability strategies as required

Collaborate with development teams to provide support for application deployments and database related issues

Troubleshoot and resolve database related incidents, coordinating with vendors and technical support as needed

Create and maintain documentation of database configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures

Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing to ensure data protection and business continuity

Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in Oracle database administration

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Minimum 4 years of proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator, with expertise in managing Oracle database systems

Minimum 4 years of strong understanding of relational database concepts, SQL, and PL/SQL programming

Minimum 4 years of proficiency in Oracle database installation, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting

Minimum 4 years of experience with performance monitoring tools and techniques for database optimization

Minimum 4 years of knowledge of database security principles, authentication, authorization, and encryption

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Oracle DBA, ITSM process knowledge
