Panel Builder / Machine Electrician

Job Responsibilities: Electrical panel building, install conduit and interconnecting wiring of machines. Follow instructions and maintain a clean work area.

Key elements: Continuous standing, bending, and kneeling on concrete floor for most of the work day. Must be capable of lifting up to 10 lbs. constantly, 11 to 25 lbs. frequently, and 26 to 50 lbs. occasionally during the workday.

Knowledge, skills and abilities (Minimum qualifications)

Comprehend electrical schematics and other electrical drawings

Ability to read and follow instructions

Proficient in math

Problem solving skills and decision making ability

Punctual, meticulous and reliable

Courteous manners with fellow employees and customers

Ability to safely operate hand & power tools

Markup electrical schematics (REDLINES)

Knowledge, skills and abilities (Desirable qualifications)

Ability to read mechanical drawings

Experience with interconnecting conduit and wiring

Ability to use a computer using Windows

Ability to operate a forklift

Experience with shipping and receiving

Education and/or equivalent experience :

High school diploma or GED required.

3 years of experience in panel building
