Physical Therapy - PT

Our client is currently looking for a Physical Therapist to fill a 13-week travel assignment in Ironwood, Michigan. Interested therapists should hold a current license/registration in PT and be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy. This job is working at a 62-bed residence with 18 assisted living suites.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess your patients to establish functional, measurable goals that promote restoration of functional abilities.
• Realize your own potential to achieve your goals and overall excellence.
• Advise and consult with the family and/or other caregivers as indicated to promote the client's level of progress toward mutually agreed upon goals and plan for discharge.
• Participate in educating the client and the family or other caregivers to promote the client's progress toward mutually agreed upon goals.

Requirements

• Michigan State PT License
• Skilled Nursing/long term care experience since October 2019 (PDPM experience)
• Rehab Optima (Net Health)
• Negative COVID 19 test required (usually within 7-10 days of start)
• COVID-19 Vaccination card/documentation
• Degree from PT Accredited College

Compensation

• Salary: $40-45/hour based on experience, benefit level and traveler status.
