- Comfortable working with multiple parties that have different work scopes on the project: vendors, the site EPCM, and client representatives, to align with client's OT design and standards.
- Ability to identify concerns around OT equipment and speaking up to client OT leadership and site EPCM leadership during demolition/installation phases, as they arise
- Can work independently and collect required information from various sources on-site (e.g. meetings & interviews, information requests, physical measurements and file collection)
- Available for technical queries from client's contractors/client and communication of findings to client OT leadership
- Comfortable working in a construction environment and the associated safety training/requirements adherence from client
- Capable of comparing input specifications for hardware, software, and system architecture to provide recommendations that meet explicit and implicit requirements for client OT systems
- Knowledgeable about industrial networking (Ethernet IP, Profibus, Fieldbus, HART), instrumentation & actuators, low voltage electrical systems, and drives to be able to review and comment on vendor hardware documentation, once available
- Competent with automation software packages (DeltaV DCS and Rockwell PLC) to be able to review and comment on vendor software packages, once available
- Knowledgeable of DCS and PLC system architecture to able to assist with design and installation/cutover of new and existing systems.
- Willing and able to learn more about ABB 800xA and HIMAx systems that will be utilized in the non-DeltaV/Rockwell project scope, due to vendor equipment integration to these OT systems
- Oversight of OT equipment installation to approved specifications, followed by commissioning/startup and validation activities
